Moppets

One of the most important features of MOPS is safe, loving, faith based childcare for our little ones. Part of MOPS is connecting with other mothers, learning, and relaxing. That can be hard to do with one (or four) children in tow! Luckily, we are blessed with a caring and knowledgeable nursery staff to watch our children while we connect. Childcare opens at 9:00am.

Your child’s safety is very important to us.
Every one of our childcare team members has been screened and trained to provide the best care for your child.
  • All volunteers involved in children ministries at Life Center must complete the following application process: Six months regularly attending Life Center, Complete a volunteer application with valid ID, A background and reference check, Personal interview with the Pastor or Director, and CPR certification

Our private paging system allows us to contact you. Every parent who receive a private pager that will alert you are needed.

Our well child policy aims to ensure that every team member and every child in our care is healthy and clear of any contagious illness. To prevent illness from spreading, we cannot accept children into the childcare ministry rooms with the following symptoms:
· A fever over 99˚
· Vomiting within 24 hours
· Diarrhea within 24 hours
· Skin rash
· Open sores, unless covered
· Coughing
· Sore throat
· Congestion
· Ear pain/infection
· Runny nose
· Conjunctivitis (Pink eye)

If your child has an allergy, please make a note of this at the check-in area. An allergy alert tag will be printed for your child, and they will not receive any foods that could cause a reaction.
As a policy, Kidworks serves no food that contains any type of nuts. Because of allergies we ask that children do not bring food with them. Labeled bottles and cups are welcome.

Diaper Changing Policy
Diapers are changed only when your infant is wet or soiled.
If the child is older than 24 months, the parent will be paged to change child’s diaper.

Discipline Policy
We are here to love and teach your children. We are on their side and want to help them improve their behavior. Consistent and clear limits are set within the classroom and if a child chooses to misbehave they will be re-directed. If behavior continues parents will be paged.
